Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has accused Efe Omorogbe, the former manager of 2Baba, of preventing the singer from helping him during his time signed to his record label, Hypertek.

The allegation comes at the back of news of 2Baba's split from Omorogbe, his longtime manager of 20 years.

In a post on his X handle, Dammy Krane shared a screenshot of the report and stated that Omorogbe was the reason 2Baba did not execute his plans to help him while he was under Hypertek

2Baba has now parted ways with Omorogbe and will be represented by his new management company, Hypertek Digital.

According to 2Baba and Omorogbe, mutual disengagement is with immediate effect.

2Baba signed with Now Muzik management upon exiting The Plantashun Boiz in 2004 to pitch his tent with Kennis Music as a recording label.

Since then, he has recorded and released eight albums, given performances in more than 100 cities, received more than 60 honours, and amassed over 400 million streams on all media.

Speaking about the mutual disengagement, 2Baba claims that Efe and the Now Muzik crew are largely responsible for his professional success.
