DJ Switch slams Pastor Adeboye for calling for prayers for Nigeria

Nigerian female disc jockey Obianuju Catherine Udeh commonly known as DJ Switch has questioned Pastor Adeboye about his hypocritical actions.

The well-known disc jockey saw how The Redeemed Christian Church's founder frequently urged Nigerians to pray for the country while omitting to mention the nation's problems' underlying causes.

DJ Switch emphasized once more that rather than condemning the government for carrying out its duties, the clergyman swiftly begs for prayers.

She stressed how Jesus continuously condemned corruption and noted how people frequently claim that clerics should not be touched because of their anointing.

“She wrote: “Pastor Adeboye constantly urging Nigerians to pray for Nigeria… but rarely calls out the cause of Nigeria’s woes! Rarely calls them out for a failure to serve. The Jesus you worship served and called out corruption point blank! Some of una go say touch not my anointed! Anointing wey no dey anoint.”

DJ Switch's remarks came after Pastor Enoch Adeboye prayed for healing in Nigeria at the church's headquarters in Ebutte Metta, during the October Thanksgiving Service and Nigeria's 63rd Independence Day celebration.
