Confusion as actress Allwell Ademola celebrates 35th birthday 4 years in a row

Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola, recently celebrated her 35th birthday on August 10.

However, the news of her new age caused a buzz on social media as she has been celebrating the same age since 2017.

Screenshots of her Instagram birthday posts from 2017, 2018 and 2019 are currently circulating the internet.

It is no news that age is often considered a big deal especially in showbiz. Due to the fact that young people are often what is in demand, people tend to manipulate their age to suit the narrative.

Nollywood actress and director, Allwell Ademola, recently got many people talking after she took to social media to celebrate her birthday.

The actress who said she turned 35 on August 10, shared a photo posing by the number signs that read '35'.

Sharing the photo, she wrote: "A woman and more....Fab at 35 "

Well, this left tongues wagging as it turns out that she has been celebrating the same age since 2017 with the recent birthday post making it 4 years in a row.

An Instagram blogger compiled photos from her last 3 birthdays, questioning if she was joking about her age or really hasn't turned 36 in 4 years.

Reacting to the obvious callout, Ademola wrote on her page: "I actually plan to be 36 this year o but lockdown took half of the year ni ."

Only awhile ago, one of the BBNaija female housemates, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, was accused of lying about her age on the reality show.

During her introduction at the show premiere, Nengi had told the season’s host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu that she is aged 20.

However, social media users were quick to do some background check on the lady and from indications; she may not have been entirely honest about her age.

In other news, it's been almost a year since the news of Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu's failed marriage with fashion entrepreneur, Maureen Esisi, hit the internet and some fans are still not over it.

Just recently, Esisi, who goes by the moniker Redvigor, took to her Instagram page to share a little about her failed marriage.

Sharing a video of herself on a bad workday on August 11, she pointed out that it was the same day she received the news of her failed marriage in 2019.
