Concerns as Davido publicly ignores Imade’s birthday

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido has drawn criticism for failing to publicly acknowledge the birthday of his first child, Imade Adeleke.

On the occasion of her 8th birthday, the singer's first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, expressed her love for her daughter on her Instagram page.

Sophia also threw a modest birthday celebration for Imade, which was attended by a select group of friends, including the son of Tiwa Savage, Jamil Balogun.

However, several social media users expressed surprise that Davido neglected to post Imade's photo to his social media accounts and didn't throw her a lavish celebration.

After the passing of Ifeanyi, some thought Davido wasn't yet ready to publicly announce the birth of his children. However, some suggested it might be because of Sophia's recent outburst on financial bullying and online throwing of jabs at the singer.

Recall that on May 5, the superstar’s second daughter, Hailey Adeleke clocked six-years-old and the singer failed to celebrate the young girl on his social media pages as he usually did for his children.
