Comedian Woli Agba speaks on why men ignore their wife and 'look outside'

Comedian Woli Agba has stated that the reason why men ignore their wife and 'look outside' is because of familiarity.

The comedian who appeared on Your View, a popular programme on TVC, stated that when men see their wife every day they tend to find her boring.

Woli Agba said, "Familiarity bores men sometimes. The fact that you are seeing her every day and you are already used to her, is what makes men 'look outside'".

He added that the thought of how a man struggled to get married to his wife can bring back the spark which will make the man find her valuable again.

"But when you remember how you were chasing your wife before she finally said yes, you place more value on her", he said.

He also had some word of advice to give to women concerning marriage.

"In the same vein, a woman is not a slave, she's a help-meet. So it's not bad for a husband to praise his wife, commend her often and make her feel good.

"Civilization has done a lot of injuries to our culture. If a woman is earning more than her husband for example, she could give the children's fees to her husband in secret so he can pay. That's a way to not make him feel inferior.

"As a wife, your husband should be your secret place. Don't make him feel inferior.

"Whatever happens between a couple should be based on their personal choices. If the man decides to place his wife on salary and she agrees, so be it."
