Popular Nigerian skit maker, actor, and activist Adebowale Adedayo, famous as Mr Macaroni, has earned a Master of Arts degree with distinction in Performance (Acting) from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.

The popular content creator made the announcement in an emotional post shared across his official social media handles on November 4, 2026, accompanied by a video documenting his academic milestone.

Expressing gratitude to God, his family, and supporters, Mr Macaroni revealed that undergoing the intensive performance programme tested his endurance and professional range.

"Completing this degree challenged me in so many ways, but I am glad to have embarked on this journey of personal and professional development," he stated.

The news triggered a wave of congratulations from top Nollywood figures and industry peers.

Actor Uzor Arukwe wrote, "You outdid yourself, Debo! Congratulations, brother," while box-office star Funke Akindele added, "Congratulations, my guy." Veteran comedian AY Makun also celebrated the milestone, wishing him continued success in his career.

Widely recognized for his iconic satirical "Daddy Wa" persona and catchphrases like "Ooin" and "Freaky Freaky", Mr Macaroni has built one of Africa’s most recognisable digital comedy brands over the past decade.
