There are indications that Nigerian influencer Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle, known as Tunde Ednut, might miss the upcoming wedding between Davido and Chioma.

The wedding, scheduled for Tuesday, June 25 at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, is turning out to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.

Tunde Ednut, a close ally of Davido based in the United States, has yet to arrive in Nigeria, unlike other friends of the couple. He has not been seen in any of the photos or videos shared online of Davido and Chioma partying before the big day.

Rumors were further fueled when Cubana Chief Priest, in a comment on one of Tunde Ednut's posts, asked for money in exchange for exclusive content and updates from the wedding preparations and the wedding itself. "Tunde, send me 20 million, more updates are coming," he wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, Tunde Ednut has not responded to the comment.

Davido confirmed his wedding plans in a viral video featuring several guests, including Tobi Adegboyega, a Nigerian pastor and founder of the now-defunct Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, formerly based in London, England.

Stella Korkus, known for her inside scoops on celebrity matters, claimed in an Instagram post that the much-anticipated traditional wedding is just around the corner.

She highlighted the excitement within both families, stating that the event would strengthen family ties and bind the couple in love. Her post read, "The news you have been waiting for is here! Singer Davido is set to wed Chioma, the mother of his twins, in a traditional wedding ceremony at the Eko Hotel in Lagos in two weeks. Stella Dimoko Korkus' sources say there is excitement in both families as it will be an event that will bind them in love and strengthen family ties. The traditional wedding, according to sources, will be held on June 25, 2024."
