Renowned writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has recently been honored with a title by her hometown, Abba, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Chimamanda was given the title of Odeluwa — the writer of global acclaim.
In a video making rounds, the author was seen dancing with joy at her conferment ceremony.
She was adorned in a beautifully made George attire, a beaded necklace as she knelt down to receive her title.
Since videos of the ceremony hit the internet, netizens have taken to social media to celebrate the author.
