Angela Okorie recently joined many others to react to the death of Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman.

According to the Nollywood actress, people should learn to celebrate a life worth celebrating and not after they are gone.

Okorie went on to question why people didn't celebrate him during the 4 years that he was sick but are now doing so now that he is gone.

Nollywood actress turned singer, Angela Okori, has taken to social media to share her thoughts about how the world is reacting to the death of Hollywood actor and Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman.

In a recent video shared to her Instagram post, she questioned why people didn't celebrate Chadwick during the 4 years that he battled with colon cancer that eventually claimed his life.

Not many people were pleased with the actress' remarks.

According to her, lives worth celebrating should be celebrated especially those who have put smiles on the faces of many. Okorie added that people are celebrated more in death than in life.

"In conclusion, People celebrate death. More than life Celebrate life that is worth celebrating. Not when they are Gone. Especially people who have done a lot to put smiles on your face. Don't let low self-esteem, inferiority Complex and hate eat you up, All that epistle doesn't really matter. When the person don't get to see it. Too much hate in the world and I don't know why, abeg no reason to hate any1 oooo," she wrote.

Boseman, whose career's honour was bringing the character, King T'Challa, to life in Black Panther, died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side.

Chadwick, according to the official announcement, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 which was then at stage III. The disease sadly progressed to its stage IV and the famous actor visibly lost weight as photos in earlier reports gathered had shown.

The news of his battle with cancer was only made known following his death. This has earned Okorie backlash for questioning why people didn't celebrate him while he was sick.

See some reactions below:

peryardankarashop: "Because he did not announce he was ill. You will just open your mouth waaaaaaa"
