Social media was divided after a white concertgoer called afrobeats singer Davido's recent performance at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, the "most boring 45 minutes" of her life.

The lady, identified as Lisa Greene, posted her opinions on X, referring to the afrobeats musician as a “lazy performer” and expressing dissatisfaction at her lack of excitement.

She wrote, “No one told me that Davido is such a lazy performer. This is the most boring 45 minutes of my life. I got a free ticket from my friend, and I thought I was about to have the best night ever.”

Both supporters and detractors weighed in on the contentious discussions sparked by this criticism. Responses varied from defending Davido's stage presence to conjecturing that the remark resulted from prejudice or ignorance of afrobeats performances.

Fans of competing musicians were also blamed by several individuals, who implied that the lady fabricated things to disparage Davido.

This is not the first time that Davido has been called out on social media. The afrobeats singer has received many criticisms on social media stemming from infidelity, sexual relationships with other women, and also launching a Bitcoin app that duped many people.
