Nigerian skit maker and streamer, Carter Efe, gave fans more than they bargained for after a risky fire stunt during his Twitch livestream nearly turned disastrous.

In the now-viral video, Carter and his crew were seen attempting an elaborate performance led by a self-styled magician dressed in red.

What was intended to be an eye-catching spectacle quickly escalated when the flames spread uncontrollably across the studio.

The tense moment saw the room engulfed in smoke as Carter and his friends scrambled to put out the fire with bare hands and makeshift tools.

Despite the panic, they eventually managed to extinguish the flames before the situation worsened.

Surprisingly, Carter Efe chose to downplay the incident with humor. In a playful exchange, the group scolded one another over the failed stunt, laughing off what could have been a life-threatening accident.

Taking to Twitter afterwards, Carter posted the clip, dramatically announcing his decision to “stop streaming,” while jokingly blaming the magician he claimed to have brought in from Togo.
