Popular Nigerian content creator and comedian Carter Efe has thrown down a bold challenge to Afrobeats superstar Wizkid following his recent celebrity boxing victory over street-pop singer Portable.

Fresh off his win at the “Chaos in the Ring” celebrity boxing event in Lagos, Carter Efe revealed during a livestream that Wizkid is the next person he wants to face in the ring.

“The person way I want fight with na Wizkid. If I lie make God punish me,” he said in the viral clip making rounds online.

Carter Efe defeated Portable by unanimous decision after a three-round exhibition match held on May 1, 2026.

Reports claim the comedian walked away with prizes and cash rewards reportedly worth over ₦100 million, with support from notable entertainment figures including Soso Soberekon and E-Money.

Following the challenge, social media users shared mixed reactions. While some fans found the call-out entertaining, others accused Carter Efe of chasing clout and doubted Wizkid would respond to the challenge.

The comedian, now nicknamed “Carter Mayweather” by fans online, appears ready to tap into the growing trend of celebrity boxing matches dominating Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
