The world's richest man and Tech entrepreneur, Elon Musk, has stirred serious controversy online after urging parents to cancel their Netflix subscriptions, claiming it is for the protection of their kids.

The X landlord made the post in response to a post by DogeDesigner, who shared a meme likening Netflix to a "Trojan horse" allegedly exposing children to transgender content on the platform.

The caption on the original tweet read: “Protect your kids. Cancel Netflix.”

In response, Musk amplified the post by quoting it and writing: “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids.”

The tweet quickly went viral, sparking a heated debate. Supporters of Musk praised him for calling out what they perceive as inappropriate content on the streaming platform and also went on to file a report against the platform, while critics accused him of spreading anti-LBGTQ+ rhetoric and targeting the transgender community.
