COVID-19: FG shuts down three International airports

The Federal Government has shut down three International airports as part of its stringent measures in curbing the spread of coronavirus nationwide.

This disclosure was made by the Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, Bashir Ahmad who confirmed this development.

The three airports that were closed down are Mallam Aminu Kano Airport, Kano; Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu; and the Port Harcourt Airport, Rivers.



Just recently, the Federal Ministry of Education ordered the immediate closure of tertiary institutions, secondary and primary schools nationwide over the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the country and as part of measures to contain the spread.

Churches, Mosques, public gatherings over 50 people have also been banned.
