'Burna dey para, odogwu nor send anybody' - Nigerians react as Burna Boy flouts traffic rule

Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has stirred controversy on social media following the release of a purportedly inappropriate video showing him breaking a driving law.

In the video making rounds, the self-acclaimed African Giant was seen flouting a traffic rule while a police officer was also around.

Burna Boy ignored the traffic signal protocol, which required him to halt, and instead drove in the direction of the policeman, who gave him instructions.

Since then, internet users have responded to the video with a variety of opinions.

While some have criticized the musician for consistently disobeying Nigerian laws, others have stood by him, arguing that breaching traffic laws or one-way streets is commonplace since everyone has done it.
