Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu widely known as Burna Boy has mentioned that he is thinking about taking a break from music.

The self-acclaimed African Giant expressed his thoughts on his Instagram story, saying he is thinking about taking a break from music because of a lucrative contract offer he recently received, taking inspiration from wealthy Barbadian-American artist Rihanna's hiatus.

Burna Boy said that the substantial deal he has been offered is a test of his dedication to music.

He wrote: “With the numbers I’m seeing on this contract, these next years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music.

“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna."
