‘Burna Boy is the king’ – Terry G crowns Burna Boy superior over Davido, Wizkid

Singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G has said that Grammy Award-winning artiste Burna Boy is the biggest Nigerian singer.

He said this when he appeared on the Honest Brunch podcast.

While discussing the three biggest musicians in Nigeria, Terry G noted that the self-acclaimed African Giant is greater than Davido and Wizkid.

According to him, Burna Boy has gone international as compared to Wizkid and Davido. He noted that Wizkid is on a league of his own, adding that most songs the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer produces do not relate with many Nigerians.

Speaking on Davido, he stated that Davido is the king of African music and that the ‘Timeless’ crooner is good at making African music.

Terry G, who was not pleased with the comparison of Burna Boy with Wizkid and Davido, said “the criticism between Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido is just too lame.

Burna Boy gets African and International music. He is their king, dem dey learn.

Burna Boy pass two of them. Wizkid get where him dey go. His music no dey related to us. Davido is the king of African music, he get African music."

He however, called out Timaya over unpaid royalties.
