Burna Boy is like family to me – Wizkid

Grammy-winning artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has opened up about his relationship with colleague Burna Boy in a throwback video.

Labelling their connection as a family, Wizkid delved into the behind-the-scenes of their collaboration during the creation of Burna Boy’s acclaimed album, “African Giant.”

Recalling the genesis of their friendship, Wizkid disclosed their crossed paths while Burna Boy was working on his groundbreaking album, African Giant.

Originally scheduled for a collaboration on one of the tracks, Wizkid shared an amusing story from the studio, admitting he was intoxicated when he arrived, which led to an encounter where they both stumbled over the beats.

Wizkid stressed that when two musical giants come together, something amazing is bound to happen.

He highlighted the special connection that ignites creativity, pointing out the chemistry between them in the studio.
