Speaking on her relationship with her son’s wife, Sarah, Wright said she had always prayed against becoming the kind of mother-in-law who makes life difficult for her son’s spouse.

“I don’t want to be one of those mothers-in-law that stresses their son’s wife. I prayed not to be and I can assure you I am not,” she said.

The actress described her daughter-in-law as a beautiful soul, revealing that she personally called Sarah after the wedding to express her appreciation.

“I had to call her after the wedding and thanked her. I feel so comfortable that when I am gone, my son is in safe hands. And I pray the same thing for my other son,” she added.

On the secret behind her youthful appearance, Wright attributed it largely to what she described as the beauty sleep, saying adequate rest has remained a non-negotiable part of her lifestyle.

“Everybody in my house knows that when I sleep at a certain time, I mustn’t be disturbed. Sometimes I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting,” she said.

“I didn’t tell anyone that I was coming back to Nigeria. In fact, while shooting, not many people were aware. I kept it private because I believe that whatever you keep to yourself often comes out well,” Wright said.

Her latest project marks a return to the screen after several years away from the Nigerian film scene and the comeback has generated excitement among fans and colleagues.
