Former Big Brother Naija housemate Leo Dasilva has advised reality stars not to treat the show as a long-term career.
In a post shared on X, he encouraged ex-housemates to venture into business early and build structure around their brand.
He suggested testing multiple ideas within a short period and developing a clear five-year plan for both personal and brand growth.
Dasilva also recommended that former housemates consider settling down and securing traditional employment.
He noted that brand promotion should be a supplementary activity rather than a primary source of income, emphasising the importance of creating genuine value.
“Big Brother is not a full time job. Go into business. Create structure quick, try as many things in a short time. Have a 5 year plan of brand and personal progression.
If possible, get married quickly, get a 9-5 and use brand promotion as a hobby but make sure you create value”, he wrote.
Many followers agreed that depending solely on fame and endorsements is risky without a solid business foundation.
