'Breaking a Guinness world record isn’t for everyone' - Pere shades Chef Dammy

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and ex-US military commander Pere Egbi has stated that trying to break a Guinness World Record isn't made for everyone.

This comes on the heels of Nigerian chef Hilda Baci finally being certified by the Guinness World Records as new record holder of longest cooking marathon by and individual after almost two months of competiting.

An Ekiti-based chef, Damilola Adeparusi who is better known as Chef Dammy is is attempting to break Hilda Baci’s 93 hours 11 minutes with her 120 hours goal.

This has generated many criticisms on social media and former BBNaija star Pere has added his voice.

Weighing in on the news, and congratulating Hilda, Pere stated that breaking a Guinness World Record isn't meant for everyone hence Dammy shouldn't have attempted it.

He wrote: "Hilda made breaking Guinness world records look so delectable and popular. No cap. But breaking a Guinness world record isn’t for everyone na. Herd mentality no go finish una. Congratulations Hilda."
