Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has successfully fled Nigeria after two failed attempts to do so.

Reports indicate that Bobrisky was detained at the airport by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) but has since been released.

While trying to leave through the Seme border, Bobrisky was apprehended by Nigerian immigration officials.

The "Mummy of Lagos" hinted at his Amsterdam destination when he posted a video of himself on an aeroplane to his Instagram story on Monday, November 4.

Captioning the video, the "Mummy of Lagos" wrote, "See you soon Nigeria."

The post generated numerous reactions as netizens suggested that his troubles were a result of his frequent public displays of lifestyle.
