Controversial on-air personality, RadioGad, has come to the defense of Africa's richest man and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, following a recent string of incidents involving his company’s trucks.

Recall that reports and viral videos surfaced showing trucks bearing the Dangote inscription involved in accidents that left several people injured and others dead.

Allegations of reckless driving and negligence by the Dangote Group intensified after a social media commentator, VeryDarkMan, visited one of the crash sites and even witnessed an accident involving one of the trucks firsthand.

While public condemnation continues to mount against the drivers and the company, RadioGad argued in a post that much of the anger directed at Dangote is misplaced.

According to him, the recklessness of some pedestrians who cross busy highways without caution is also a major contributor to such accidents.

He wrote: “Everybody is pouring out their frustration on Dangote, but they won’t blame those crossing the road carelessly. A sensible person will always look left and right before crossing.”
