'Bewaji isn’t my first wife; na daughter she be' – Portable speaks on his marital life

Nigerian street singer Portable has acknowledged that his known wife Bewaji is not his first wife and that he initially treated her like a daughter.

He revealed a number of details about his personal life when taking part in the acclaimed podcast 'the Honest Bunch'.

Contrary to widespread assumption, Portable insists that Bewaji is not his first spouse. He said that Bewaji, who was more like a daughter, was his choice because his genuine first wife had betrayed him.

He asserted that Bewaji used to provide him with financial assistance and send him money when he needed it.

According to Portable, she continued to support him up until the day he made the decision to marry her.
