Basketmouth’s ex-wife reacts to fire incident at AY’s mansion amidst rift

The fire incident that happened at the Lekki residence of Nigerian comedian Richard Ayo Makun better known as AY has prompted a response from Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of comedian and actor Bright Okpocha, often known as Basketmouth.

Basketmouth and his colleague AY have a history of animosity toward one another.

Despite this, Elsie has joined other famous people on social media to support and encourage AY's family in the wake of their tragic loss.

The comedian cum filmmaker finally spoke out about the Sunday fire breakout a few hours ago.

The comedic actor addressed the issue on his Instagram page on Wednesday and expressed his gratitude to everyone who has gotten in touch with him during this trying period.

AY claimed that when one meets the proper person to travel life with, pain is just momentary.

He continued by affirming his conviction that nothing in a person's life will be removed by God without being replaced by something greater.

Elsie responded to the message by stating that Makun's family is in her thoughts and prayers.
