Bashir Ahmad donates palliatives to Kano hometown

Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has donated Ramadan/COVID–19 palliatives to residents in his hometown, Gaya, Kano.

The palliatives which consisted of rice, noodles and groundnut oil were distributed to 957 households within old Gaya, and 365 houses in Goron Dutse, Gwale and some places within Kano metropolis.

Ahmad, who could not be present due to the ban on interstate travel was glad his friends could run the errand of distributing the items on his behalf.

"Wanted to be in my hometown, Gaya, Kano, to personally distribute these Ramadan/COVID–19 palliatives, but unfortunately I couldn’t make it due to the presidential directive that banned interstate travel at the moment, I am happy my friends have done it on my behalf, successfully," he tweeted.
