Barcelona defender Clément Lenglet has opened up on how he is living through the confinement due to the effect of the deadly coronavirus.

The French star revealed that his mother has been influential by keeping him up to date with the reality of the pandemic very well since she is a nurse.

In an interview with the French Football Federation, Lenglet spoke on his time on lockdown, how he keeps fit and what he feels about the postponement of the European Championship.

Lockdown? "I live it like everyone else, hoping I can get out. I'm lucky to have a house with a garden and I can air my head from time to time. It's a difficult stage for everyone."

Aware? "I live the coronavirus closely because my mother is a nurse. We talk and she tells me that they are going through a difficult period, because they don't always have the right material. They have to adapt."

Sanitary? "We must applaud those in the hospital, those who work to bring us food and transport. They make life easier for us. We must take our hats off for all the people who are taking risks for us."

Postpone the European Championship? "It is the best decision because if it could be played it would have been done without an audience."

Your day to day? "I take this opportunity to call everyone, my family and my friends. I recently started cooking. I made an apple pie and it turned out well."

Training "Having carried out the exercises that the Barcelona physical trainer sends us every day. I have a garage to play soccer, I miss him a lot."
