What is the criteria for eviction in BBNaija? Eviction is the weekly process of a housemate leaving the Big Brother House.

The eviction process begins with the nomination of housemates. Nomination is one of the favourite parts to watch in the BBNaija reality TV show, as lots of housemates turn against their friends during the nomination process in the show.

Nomination normally comes up every Monday, after the Sunday night eviction of housemates from the reality show. The nomination is usually done secretly with Biggie in the Diary room.

Every housemate, including the Head of House, has to nominate two of their fellow housemates for possible eviction from the reality show.

After the nomination is done, Biggie summons all the housemates in the lounge to announce the names of housemates with the highest numbers of nominations.

At this juncture, the Head of House (HoH) or the Veto Power card winner has minimal time to save and replace one nominated housemate with another who he/she wants to be up for possible eviction from the reality show.

The Head of House automatically gets saved from nomination by fellow housemates during that week of ascending the throne of the Head of House.

A housemate’s chance of staying in the house depends on how much the audience votes for them. One or more nominated housemates with the least votes have to leave the show.

The BBNaija show also has some twists every now and then. For example, during the live housemate eviction show on Sundays, the four housemates with the least number of votes may face the risk of eviction. The other housemates may have to vote for whom they want to stay in the house, and whoever has the least number of votes from the housemates will be evicted.

Sometimes, the housemates may be evicted with a game challenge if Biggie has to bring in a new twist to keep viewers entertained; also, housemates may be evicted even before the live show on Sunday.

On the final day of the BBNaija reality show, the remaining finalists are evicted until two housemates with the highest votes from viewers are up on the stage with the host, and the winner of the season is announced.

Will BBNaija pay any evicted housemates? The evicted housemates only receive what they earned when winning games and tasks while they were in the house.

The breakdown of the grand prize for BBNaija season five includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus Property; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.

Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

How to check top people with the highest vote in BBNaija? Currently, it is impossible to check which housemates got the most votes every week.

Big Brother does not reveal which housemates who had the most votes, only those with the least votes are revealed on eviction night.

BBNaija is, undeniably, one of the greatest reality TV shows enjoyed by multitudes across the continent. Despite just being in its fourth week, the show has already elicited a lot of reactions online, and the housemates' fans keep campaigning for them on social media networks.
