Nigerian Afro-fusion star Ayra Starr created a light yet memorable moment upon her arrival in Ghana ahead of the Tidal Rave Festival 2025, after politely correcting an organizer who mispronounced her name.
In a video from the airport reception, one of the event coordinators welcomed her but got her name wrong. Without hesitation and with her signature warmth, Ayra gently corrected him, saying:
“It’s Ayra, my love, it’s Ayra.”
When asked by a journalist if she had a special message for Ghanaians ahead of the festival, she encouraged fans to come out and enjoy the experience.
She also revealed how much she loves the Ghanaian capital.
“Just come and have fun, come and enjoy yourself. I love you guys, and this is one of my favorite cities,” she said.
The Tidal Rave Festival, celebrated as Ghana’s biggest beach festival, is set to deliver another unforgettable edition on Saturday, 15 November, 2025 at the Palm Roya Beach Hotel.
