Popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, recently captured the hearts of online users as he surprised his dad with a brand new car.

Asake, the “Lonely At the Top” crooner, gifts his dad a brand new 2025 Toyota Prado worth $75,000, which is approximately N105Million.

Recall Entertainment Region reported a few days ago that Asake surprised his mother with a G-Wagon G63 worth N311million.

In the video that has generated a significant impression online, Asake dad, Fatai Odunsi, also known as Malo, goes emotional after his son presented him with a car.

Recall that Mr. Odunsi, a former Local Government council staff on Lagos Island and fuji musician, made headlines in March 2025 after publicly claiming that his son, Afrobeats star Asake, had neglected him following a stroke he suffered in 2022. The allegation, shared in a viral video, quickly sparked widespread discussion online.

Following the public outcry, reports in mid-March 2025 indicated that Asake reached out to his father, promising to cover his medical bills, assist him in finding a new home, and work toward repairing their strained relationship.

While some initially criticized Mr. Odunsi as a deadbeat, other members of his community highlighted that he had raised Asake single-handedly from the age of three after his mother left. Asake later responded to the claims in a song, stating that he had previously sent money to his father and emphasizing that he cannot satisfy everyone.
