Actress Annie Macaulay has announced her return to acting with a new project.

Macaulay, who shared a video from a movie set on Instagram, said acting has always been close to her heart and that she is expressing joy at returning to what she loves.

She noted that being back on set reminded her of why she started her career.

She expressed gratitude for growth, new beginnings, and opportunities to continue telling stories through film.

She added that the magic of acting is still there and described this as only the beginning again.

“There’s something so beautiful about finding your way back to the things that make your soul come alive…

“Being back on set, creating stories, becoming different characters, and doing what I truly love reminds me of why I started this journey in the first place. Acting will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m honestly so happy to be back doing what brings me joy.

“Grateful for growth, new beginnings, and every opportunity to keep telling stories through film. The magic is still there… and this is only the beginning again”, she wrote.

The announcement marks a new chapter for Macaulay following her divorce from singer 2Baba.

After the separation, she deleted all photos and posts from her Instagram page and later shared an appreciation post thanking her support system for standing by her during a difficult period.

Since the separation, the mother of two has focused on personal growth and new ventures.

Annie Macaulay is known for roles in films such as ‘Blackberry Babes’, ‘Pleasure and Crime’, and ‘Morning After Dark’.
