Angel reacts to alleged breakup with Soma

Reality personality star Angel Smith has responded to rumours that she and her colleague and lover Soma have broken up.

The couple ignited rumours of a breakup after Angel unfollowed Soma and changed his birthday greeting to her on Instagram, removing the word "love,".

In response to the rumours on the X platform, Angel asserted that the people spreading them were harassing her, citing her experience with cyberbullying dating back to 2021.

She urged fans to appreciate their decision, even if they have broken up, especially because they are not arguing on social media.

Angel wrote, “You guys have been bullying me since 2021, for no reason. Even the things you guys accused me of are untrue. I still haven’t said a word. You don’t like me, I have heard, I’m a bad girl, I have heard. Honestly shut the hell up.

“Even if we broke up, so????? If that were the case? Did you see us dragging ourselves online, you people are in relationships you can only tell God about and you have the audacity. Idiots.”

Angel and Soma developed a romantic relationship during the BBNaija All Stars edition, which featured a mix of former housemates from previous seasons.

Even though they showed their love for one another in the reality house, a lot of people thought their romance was just a ploy.

After the show, Angel denied the rumours, saying that what they shared in the house was real and that she would be willing to marry Soma.
