American rapper Jay Z jams to Lojay’s 'Monalisa' loud in his car; Nigerians react

American record producer and rapper, Jay Z has been captured jamming to Nigerian afrobeat singer, Lojay's hit song 'Monalisa'.

Jay Z was said to be on his way to Michael Rubin's all-white party at the Hamptons on July 4.

In the video shared by Afrobeats podcaster Adesope, Jay Z and his family were in a car, driving by while enjoying Lojay's hit song, 'Monalisa'.

The song which was released in June 2021, featuring producer, Sarz was later remixed in 2022 with Chris Brown.

Monalisa made its debut entry at number 8 on the Billboard US Afrobeats chart Hot 100.

Lojay, upon sighting the video, commented on Adesope's post. He said; "Hov approved"

Reacting to Lojay's hit song being played by American's finest, Jay Z, many hailed the singer for his global recognition.
