A viral post recently stirred reactions online after alleging that Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage is pregnant with the child of music producer and singer Young Jonn.
The claim, which spread rapidly across social media, suggested that the singer made the revelation during an interview, with some linking the alleged situation to their 2023 hit song Stamina.
However, a closer look at the video used to support the claim tells a different story.
In the footage, Tiwa Savage was actually reflecting on a past period of her life, including the challenges she faced in 2021 and her relationship with her son, not any pregnancy or involvement with Young Jonn.
She also spoke about her personal growth and bond with her son, Jamil, following her 2018 divorce from music executive Tunji Balogun.
As the rumour gained traction, neither Tiwa Savage nor Young Jonn confirmed the claim, and there is no credible evidence to support it. The allegation has since been widely dismissed as false.
