Akon speaks against social media World War 3 memes

US singer, Akon has advised social media users to stop making fun of the tensions between Iran and US with World War 3 memes.

Since the death of Iran's General Qassim Soleimani who was killed by US airstrike, war threats have been issued by Iran and the US.

Social Media users who reacted to the war rhetorics tweeted different memes to make mockery of a likely World War 3.

This didn't sit well with Akon who tweeted:

"All these joke memes about WW3 coming isn’t funny. A lot of lives are at stake on all sides, When did ANY war become comical?"

Modern America has forgotten what war looks like. It’s never had an impact on the majority of Americans. It’s been comfortable for so long that war is mocked. Until we have to fight like rebels in our own are streets or have to stand in line for rations people won’t understand.
