Car dealer IVD has alleged that afrobeats singer Davido owes him N5.5 million after the singer only paid N1 million of the 6.5 million car he purchased for his aide Israel DMW.
Recall that in 2024, relationship therapist, Blesisng CEO chastised the award-winning singer for not repaying the debt on the vehicle he had bought for his assistant, Israel DMW.
IVD Motors, however, rejected the claims that the singer owed him. According to him, Davido paid off his account and expressed regret to Blessing CEO for not keeping her informed.
In a new development, IVD has changed his mind in a viral internet audio-making round a few months after denying that Davido owes him. He asserts that of the 6.5 million he owed for the 2009 Venza he purchased for Israel, the artist only paid N1 million.
In the recording, IVD said that every time he tried to get his money, he was just asked to provide his account information and never received it.
