Adekunle rejects gifts from ‘Adenita’ shippers

Former BBNaija All-Stars housemate Adekunle Olopade has openly rejected gifts from ‘shippers’ of the Adenita movement fuelled by his in-house romance with Venita.

The 29-year-old explained why he would reject the gifts while also addressing relationship with Venita outside Biggie’s house.

During a recent radio interview, Adekunle emphasised that he doesn’t want any gift of any kind from fans.

Adekunle said that there’s an expectation that usually comes from fans and shippers when they support because of relationship with a particular housemate.

He said that when these fans provide gifts for their idol and the ship sinks, they’d turn back to the former lovers of using them.

Adekunle noted that he had told his fans not to give him any gift because he wouldn’t want a situation where they’d act like he’s indebted to them.

He further cited an instance whereby he once accepted gifts from fans and people ended up accusing him of begging.

About his relationship with Venita he said that it was basically a ship within a house where one is confined and doesn’t know much about the other occupants in the house.

He stressed that he and Venita never knew much about each other and although he has seen her exhibit some behavior and outbursts in the house, neither of them has seen how each other acts outside the house.
