Actress Monica Friday rips actor Zubby Michael apart over his tribalistic comment on AMVCA

Actress Monica Friday has slammed actor Zubby Michael for attacking the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA.

MyNigeria.com reported that Zubby Michael accused the organizers of bias and being mostly Yorubas for not recognizing certain legendary Nollywood actors.

“I am sure most of the organizer are Yoruba. They did not even recognize the pillars or Nollywood, the original owner of loving in Bondage was not mention but new living in Bondage got 8 awards, our dead heroes like Sam Loco and others where not mentioned, Award without people that made Mama G, Ski and Paw paw, Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo”, he wrote.

The comment from Zubby Michael didn't sit well with Monica Friday who shared a video showing her slamming him.

According to her, he has no say in how the organizers chose to dish put their awards.

She added that he can't expect them to give awards to legends and dead actors when the show is about current trends.
