Actress Grace Ifemeludike advises activists to stop fighting for Nigerians

Nigerian actress, Chioma Grace Ifemeludike, has taken to her Instagram page to discourage political activists, especially Omoyele Sowore from taking the affairs of the country to heart.

In the post which she shared on her page, she noted that activists can only speak for the voiceless but Nigerians have voices but chose to use it for things that they prioritise.

Speaking further, she mentioned that Nigerians unite their voices to contribute money for reality stars, argue over musicians, and become silent when politicians loot funds.

Grace stated that it was high time people like Sowore took a break to look after themselves and their families.

She also advised them to look the other way and act deaf like a typical Nigerian when injustice or inappropriate things happen until it hits everyone at the same time.

Excerpt from her post read: "Political activists in Nigeria should take a break! You can only speak for the voiceless but in this case, Nigerians have a voice they just using it for things they prioritise. They have a voice when they contribute money for reality show stars, they have a voice when they argue about Burna and Davido, their silence when politicians loot them dry is loud enough, it's the voice of approval and they're fully aware of the consequences."

In another news about the actress, Legit.ng earlier reported that movie star, Chioma Grace Ifemeludike, took to her Instagram page to blast people calling for another protest, against the social media regulatory bill.
