Actress Genevieve Nnaji returns on screens after 5 years of exit from acting

Veteran actress Genevieve Nnaji is set to be on our screens again after adapting the acclaimed book “I Do Not Come To You By Chance” by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani.

Reports reveal that the film is about a young man who must prevent his family from going hungry.

The film shows the lengths the young man he will go to protect those he loves and is set in the dangerous world of Nigerian email scams.

The book from which the movie will be made had won the prestigious Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best First Book (Africa) and the prestigious Betty Trask First Book Award in 2010.

The book was also included in The Washington Post’s “Best Books of the Year” list, which is a distinction.

Nnaji works with co-executive producer Chinny Carter to make a movie version of the book.

Prime Business Africa stated that the cast includes Blossom Chukwujekwu and Paul Nnadiekwe, both of whom have lead roles.
