Access Bank close branch after staff exposure to COVID-19

Access Bank Zambia Limited has notified its customers of the closure of its Cosmopolitan Mall Branch until further notice.

This is coming after a staff member came in contact with an individual who tested positive for COVID-19.

Zambia's Ministry of Health had been alerted and has continued to give guidance on the resolution of the confirmed case.

In line with health guidelines, the bank branch would be temporarily closed for disinfection. Also, customers who visited the branch in the last week were advised to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days starting immediately.

Nonetheless, the bank promised to serve customers via its online banking channels.

"Please be reminded that we will continue to serve you through our Alternate Delivery Channels. Online Banking, Access Mobile App, USSD *801#, WhatsApp Banking and ATM are available 24 hours a day for your banking needs," a part of the statement read.
