Award-winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has once again had social media buzzing with her interview on Arise News.

During the interview, the novelist demonstrated her composure and eloquence, which many have praised.

Recall that following the recent general election, Adichie criticized President Biden and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for congratulating President-elect Bola Tinubu on winning the presidential election held on February 25 in an open letter titled "Nigeria's Hollow Democracy" that was published in The Atlantic.

In her letter, Adichie claimed that there were anomalies in the 2023 presidential elections and criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not abiding by the guidelines set forth by its organization.

The author informed Biden that congratulating Bola Tinubu on being named as the next president undermines America's alleged commitment to democratic processes.

Following the development, many people have added their voice to the issue with some arguing that there should be a lawsuit against Adichie for her allegations.

According to Dele Alake, the President-elect Bola Tinubu's special assistant on communications, Chimamanda Adichie may face a lawsuit over an allegation she made against the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu.

Speaking on Arise News, Adichie revealed that she isn't worried that the president-elect is threatening her with a lawsuit.
