Media personality and blogger Noble Chibuzor Igwe, commonly referred to as Noble Igwe, has shared his thoughts on his fellow Igbo men.
Taking to his Instagram story, Noble Igwe lamented the attitude of some Igbo men at events. He stated that many men from the SouthEast are wealthy but lack class.
Noble shared his experience with some Igbo men at an event he attended. According to the blogger, these men arrived late to the program but chose to pull seats from the back to the middle of the event.
They also refused to dance at the designated stage for dancing. He also berated these men for their way of eating. Igwe displeased by this act said he will continue to talk about these behaviours until he sees change.
He wrote, “A lot of Igbo men are rich and classless. They will come late to your event so that they can pull seat to the middle and sit. I’m at this event and some are eating beans with their plates on the chair and an empty table behind. Zero respect for the host. We can’t continue like this and I’d continue to speak up.”
“You came to an event, saw a dedicated area for dance but you didn’t see the reason to respect it, you pulled chairs up and sat down blocking the entire room. How is it so hard to respect set up.”
“I will not stop speaking against this unruly behaviour until we learn to do better, respect table arrangements and treat our hosts with the desired respect.”
