77th Golden Globe Awards: Full list of winners

The 77th Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday in Beverly Hills and was hosted by Ricky Gervais.

The awards for movies and Television were chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The night saw Quentin Tarantino emerge one of the biggest winners with his latest movie 'Once upon a time...in Hollywood" winning Best Screenplay.

Winning Best Actress is Renée Zellweger for her role in 'Judy', while Joaquin Phoenix who played 'Joker' won Best Actor.

Accepting her award, Renee thanked the HFPA for"inviting me back to the family reunion". Phoenix on his own part used his own acceptance speech to exhort his fellow stars to "take responsibility and make changes".

"Contrary to popular belief I don't want to rock the boat, but the boat is [doomed]," said the actor.

"We don't have to take private jets to Palm Springs to the awards sometimes."
