2baba clears air on viral 'help me' post, warns public against endangering wife, Natasha

Legendary Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has finally spoken out amid the escalating controversy surrounding his marriage to Natasha Osawuru, firmly denying claims that he posted the alarming “Help me” message that went viral earlier this week.

The singer, who has been at the center of intense online attention and speculation, stated that the post did not originate from him and urged the public to stop fueling narratives that could put his wife in harm’s way.

Addressing the situation in a new statement shared online, 2Baba expressed frustration over the rising public interference and the pressure it has placed on his family.

According to him:

“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha at risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it. Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything.”

His clarification comes after heightened concern from fans, family members, and his former manager, who publicly appealed for calm and support in the midst of the couple’s private crisis.

The singer’s response confirms that while there are indeed challenges within the marriage, he remains adamant that the matter will be handled privately and not through public speculation.

Natasha, who has been subjected to heavy scrutiny after a viral altercation video, is currently facing heightened attention, including an invitation from the Edo State House of Assembly.
