1. Auchi Polytechnic

Auchi Polytechnic is one of the leading Polytechnics in the country, in one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan towns in Nigeria.

The school is a Federal Polytechnic in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria. It is one of the first four Polytechnics established in Nigeria and was established in 1963. It has over 10,000 students enrolled in business, technology, environmental and arts courses.

2. Yaba College of Technology, Lagos

The school was established in 1947 as an immediate successor to Yaba Higher College, Yaba College of Technology. The school attained autonomous and independent status in 1969 provide full-time and part-time courses of instruction and training in Technology, Applied to Science, Commerce and Management and in such other fields of applied learning relevant to technical, vocational and industrial needs of Nigeria.

3. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro  

Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro is a polytechnic is arguably one of the best polytechnics in Nigeria based in Ogun State, Southwestern Nigeria.

The institution was established in 1979 and since then has acquired the reputation of a quintessential institution educating and training students in five schools or faculties. These are Engineering, Environmental Studies, Communication and Information Technology, Management Studies and Pure and Applied Sciences.

4. Federal Polytechnic Bauchi 

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB), was established In July 1979. It occupies 750 hectares of land in Gwallameji village along Bauchi – Dass road in Bauchi metropolis. The school is one of the best polytechnics not only in northern Nigeria but in Nigeria as a whole in 2020.

5. Lagos State Polytechnic

Lagos State Polytechnic, popularly known as LASPOTECH is a government-owned tertiary institution located in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The institution offers National Diploma and Higher National Diploma courses at undergraduate levels and is among the leading polytechnics in Nigeria.

6. Polytechnic Ibadan

The Polytechnic, Ibadan (typically called "Poly Ibadan") is a one of the reputable institution of higher learning in Ibadan in Oyo State, Nigeria. Ibadan Poly was founded in 1970. 8. Federal Polytechnic, Ede

Federal Polytechnic, Ede is a Nigerian tertiary institution that was established in 1992. It is located in Ede, a town in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria. It is a National Diploma awarding institution and has continued to improve on it standard year after year. This year 2020, the school was ranked among the top 10 in Nigeria.

9. Petroleum Training Institute Effurun

Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State was established in 1973 by the federal government of Nigeria as a prerequisite for the membership in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

11. Federal Polytechnic Bida

Federal Polytechnic Bida was established in 1977. The school is a Federal Government tertiary institution situated in Bida, Niger State, Nigeria, currently there seven faculties in the institution namely:

12. Federal Polytechnic, Oko

13. Federal Polytechnic, Offa

 The Main Campus of the Polytechnic is located about 6.5 kilometers from Offa town centre on the Offa – Ojoku Road while the Mini Campus is located at the southern end of Offa town along Offa Oshogbo Road.

14. Kaduna Polytechnic

It was established in 1956 as Kaduna Technical Institute after the British Government accepted the upgrading of Yaba Higher College to a technical institute and also proposed the establishment of technical institutes in Kaduna and Enugu through the recommendation of the Higher Education Commission.

19. Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo

The polytechnic was established by edict in 1979 with the name The Polytechnic, Owo by the outgoing Military Governor Sunday Tuoyo. Executive Governor Adekunle Ajasin began to operate the polytechnic immediately he took office in early 1980. It was renamed Ondo State Polytechnic in 1990. By 2010 the polytechnic had over 4,000 students.
