Two more bodies recovered from collapsed building in Imo

At least two more bodies have reportedly been recovered under the collapsed building in Imo State by rescue teams.

According to reports, an eight-story building collapsed in Owerri, the Imo state capital on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Channels TV reported on Thursday that the building located along the Yar’ Adua Drive in Owerri was under construction.

Of the about 25 persons reportedly trapped in the collapsed building, at least fifteen persons have, however, been rescued from the rubble while two people were confirmed dead on Thursday.

The death toll has now risen to at least four, according to reports.
