The House of Representatives has urged the police to stop the incessant parade of Miss Chidinma Ojukwu, the level 100 student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who has been accused of killing the Chief Executive Officer of SuperTV, Usifo Ataga.

The House urged the police to rather investigate in-depth the details of the case and stop allowing her grant media interviews, subjecting her to media trial

The House resolution stemmed from a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Rep. Tolulope Sadipe drawing the attention of the parliament to the frequent parade of the accused by the police and subjecting her to social media trial, The Nations reports.

Recall, Miss Ojukwu in an interview with Crime Fighters stated she didn't kill Mr. Usifo Ataga after initially saying in her early statement that she committed the crime.
