The Redeemed Christian Church of God has issued seven-page guidelines to its parishes ahead of a Federal Government decision to reopen worship centers in the country.

Worship centers have been banned from holding services due to the coronavirus pandemic currently ravaging the world including Nigeria.

However, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 revealed yesterday that they are awaiting a decision from the President on their reopening.

In anticipation of the Federal Government's decision, the RCCG issued guidelines which it called “Church re-opening strategy”.

The guidelines prohibit the opening of the children sections of the church until further notice from the government.

The letter which was addressed to all parishes was signed by the Assistant General Overseer (Admin/Personnel), Pastor J. F. Odesola, on May 28, 2020.
