Prince Raheem Tajudeen and Mr Faisal Awudu turbaned as kings of little New York

Prince Raheem Tajudeen and Mr Faisal Awudu were turbaned as Kings (Sarki) and his deputy (Ladan) of Little New York base at Accra Ghana with top government officials in attendance.

The coronation of prince Raheem Tajudeen as the King of Little New York base in Accra Ghana and Mr Faisal Awudu as his deputy popularly referred to as Ladan was a big celebration and talk of the town in the Ghanaian capital on Sunday, 20th August 2021.

The ceremony which had dignitaries from all spheres of life including the seating member of parliament representing Ayawaso North constituency Hon. Yusuf Jaja and other top traditional, religious, business and political leaders from across board gracing the occasion

The MP, in his remarks "expressed gratitude to God, to the leadership and members of little New York base in Accra for this laudable initiative"

"He further urged them to build on this as it will be a good avenue to uniting the people through building synergy with other civil authorities by which development will come to the area"

"He finally wishes the newly crowned kings well and stated his joy that history was made in his presence as the Hon. Member representing this great constituency"

The program continued amidst joy and celebration as there was enough to eat and drink on the day with the Chairman of the Little New York group Mr Bash Maida whose members are scattered around the world with their prompt online meetings gave a brief history of the group and the genesis of the title received on the night

In his words, "he described the group as a union of like minds coming together for a common purpose which is members welfare"

He also narrated the genealogy of the king's office which began during our late King Sarki Babatunde of blessed memory before this particular one, and he promised to uphold to the tenets of the organisation as the leader and as he took the opportunity in thanking all those who made it a point to honour their invitation and members of the group who played Various roles in making sure the event was a grand success"

Finally, Mr Sheriff Muhammed who was the master of ceremony (MC) acknowledged the presence of all dignitaries and thank them for their support including the Newly crowned wikili Sarki (the king's aide) AkA Too much money who was among the three persons crowned on the night.
